A gap year built for future leaders
This pathway is designed for students who want more than a traditional gap year. It combines entrepreneurship, innovation, and real-world collaboration in a way that feels practical, exciting, and meaningful. You’ll work alongside students from top business schools and young entrepreneurs from Barcelona’s start-up scene, learning how to spot opportunities, build solutions, and communicate ideas clearly. The experience is structured, hands-on, and designed to help you grow into a confident thinker and leader.
Whether you already have a business idea or are starting from scratch, you’ll be guided through the process of turning an initial concept into something real. The focus is not only on starting a company, but on developing the mindset to lead, adapt, and solve problems in any career. Even if you never launch a venture, the skills you build here will stay with you for life.

Collaborate. Create. Pitch.
Join an environment where ideas are tested, refined, and brought to life. You’ll take part in workshops, mentoring sessions, and team-based development led by experienced guides, with the chance to work on a venture that responds to a real market need. The program is intentionally immersive, so you are not just learning about entrepreneurship, you are practicing it.
Your experience is shaped by collaboration with people from different academic and cultural backgrounds, which makes the process more dynamic and realistic. Teams are formed to encourage fresh thinking and different perspectives, helping you learn how to communicate, compromise, and move an idea forward together. Barcelona’s innovation ecosystem adds another layer, giving the pathway an energetic, international feel.
How it works
Your pathway follows a clear progression from idea to pitch. First, you’ll join mixed teams with students from universities like ESADE, EU Business School, and TBS, plus young entrepreneurs from Barcelona’s start-up world. From there, you’ll brainstorm, validate, and shape your concept with mentor support before presenting it to real entrepreneurs and investors.
The final pitch takes place in the iconic Torre Glòries, where teams present Shark Tank-style and one team receives a €1,000 investment prize. More importantly, every participant leaves with practical experience in teamwork, presentation, business strategy, and high-pressure communication. It’s a challenge that builds capability and confidence in equal measure.
