Our Hybrid Gap Program, Fall 2025
Following the success of our Spring 2025 Hybrid Program, we’re excited to announce it’s back for Fall 2025! This unique experience blends the best of both worlds – the cultural discovery and immersive travel of Spain by Train, with the mentorship, internships, and future-focused development of Future Leaders.
For Fall 2025, we’re introducing two flexible options for months 2 & 3 in Barcelona.
The Entrepreneurship Edition includes a part-time internship in the mornings, followed by entrepreneurship, mentorship, and Spanish classes in the afternoons – all leading up to our exciting Shark Tank-style finale.
The Internship Edition is designed for those who want to gain extra college credit or more hands-on experience through a full-time internship placement.
If you want to explore Spain, grow your Spanish skills, and build real-world experience, this all-in-one semester is for you.
- 1 week each: San Sebastián, Salamanca, Madrid, Granada

Frequently Asked Questions
Absolutely not. You'd do your first few sessions online while you travel, and your in person entrepreneurship sessions once you arrive to Barcelona. Your internship starts in Barcelona one way or another, so you will be doing the same internship hours, you won't be missing out.
No, you would not. Same as with Spain by Train, there is no minimum language level expectation. You can be a beginner Spanish speaker and work in English, but if you do have some Spanish (or you are advanced), you can work in Spanish and get to a professional Spanish level.
Yes and yes. The amount of credits doesn't vary, because the number of structured learning stays the same in the hybrid program, as it does when doing either Spain by Train or Future Leaders.
The hybrid Internship & Entrepreneurship program is the same price as Spain by Train; €18,400. For FL gappers who may want to switch to the hybrid program, there would be an extra fee of €1,000.
The hybris program with the option of a full time internship in Barcelona costs €16,000.
